Metroid Prime - Federation Force (日本語名：メトロイドプライムフェデラーションフォース) is an action-adventure shooter game developed by Next Level Games and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the fifth installment in the Metroid Prime series and the first game in the series to be released on a handheld device. The game follows a group of four Galactic Federation Marines, known as the 'Federation Force', as they explore the planet of Bion, battling hostile aliens and searching for a mysterious energy source. The game features a single-player campaign, as well as a four-player cooperative multiplayer mode. In the single-player campaign, the player controls a single Federation Force Marine, while in the multiplayer mode, up to four players can work together to complete missions. The game also features a variety of weapons, including the Morph Ball, which allows the player to roll around in a compact form and access hidden areas, as well as a variety of other gadgets. Metroid Prime - Federation Force is a unique take on the Metroid Prime series, and is sure to offer hours of fun for fans of the series.
