Monster Hunter 4G (モンスターハンター4G, Monsutā Hantā Fō Ji) is a China-exclusive action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the fourth installment in the Monster Hunter series and the direct sequel to Monster Hunter 3G. The game was released in China on November 28, 2014. Monster Hunter 4G is an action role-playing game in which players take on the role of a hunter and are tasked with hunting down and either killing or trapping monsters that roam in one of several environmental spaces. Players are able to use a variety of weapons including swords, bows, and guns to fight their prey. The game also features an expansive crafting system which allows players to create armor and weapons from the materials they gather from their hunts. The game features a variety of new features and improvements over its predecessor, Monster Hunter 3G. These include improved graphics, new monsters, new weapons, and new areas to explore.
