Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns (Bokujou Monogatari: Mitsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi in Japanese) is a farming simulation role-playing video game developed by Marvelous for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the sixteenth installment in the Story of Seasons series, and the first in the series to be released for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is set in a world with three distinct villages, each with its own culture and lifestyle. Players take on the role of a young farmer who moves to one of the villages and must build relationships with the villagers, grow crops, and raise animals. The game features a variety of activities, such as fishing, mining, and cooking, as well as a variety of mini-games and special events. Players can also customize their farm with a variety of decorations, and build relationships with the villagers in order to unlock new content.
