Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (Japanese: ファイアーエムブレム暗黒竜と光の剣) is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It is the eleventh installment in the Fire Emblem series and the first to be released on a handheld console. The game is a remake of the original Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, which was released on the Famicom in 1990. Players take control of Marth, the prince of Altea, as he embarks on a quest to defeat the Shadow Dragon and restore peace to the continent of Archanea.
