Earthworm Jim is a 350-level, side-scrolling, platform game developed and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the Super Nintendo. It was released in Europe in 1992. Earthworm Jim is a platform game where the player controls a worm as it tries to escape from a bottomless, dark,worm-infested world. The worm moves through the environment by swimming and crawling, and can also use its tentacles to climb up surfaces. The player can also pick up objects and use them as weapons, and can collect energy balls to power up the worm. The worm can also eat food to increase its speed, and can breathe under water to swim faster.
