Earthworm Jim is a new Super Nintendo game that was released in Japan on October 15, 1994. The game is a sidescrolling action game that centers around the character Worm Jim, who is tasked with combating an alien threat. The game is written by Akira Yamaoka and directed by Nobuo Uematsu. Earthworm Jim is a classic platformer game with a unique style that has been compared to the classic Super Mario games.
